Tapping a destination applies the companion theme, starts a fresh greeting, and switches the conversation — no message sent.
The bar automatically collapses when you start typing or send a message.
The Control Panel sits just above the chat input, always visible. Two rows of quick-access buttons let you navigate and customise without opening any menu.
Travel Mode controls whether the AI receives your current location as context — useful when you're away from home and want location-aware responses (weather, local recommendations, travel tips).
The 50-mile boundary is measured from the Location field in your user profile (☰ → Settings → 🙍 User Profile). If no home is set, location context is never used.
Location is detected from your IP address, which can be off by 20–30 miles. The 50-mile threshold is intentionally generous to account for this — if your IP places you anywhere near home, location context stays off.
The 💭 How are you feeling? button appears above the input at the start of every conversation. Tap it to share your mood — the AI responds in kind.
Selecting a mood sends a gentle opening message to the companion and hides the bar for that conversation. It reappears fresh when you start a new chat.
Deep Analysis activates a multi-step process where several specialist AI agents work on your question in parallel, then a master agent synthesizes their answers into a single comprehensive response.
Available for The Sage and The Scientist premier companions.
Ask any companion to reason through a problem before answering. The AI works through the question internally first, then gives you a more considered, deliberate response.
Include any of these phrases naturally in your message:

Think Deeper applies to that one message only. The next response returns to normal speed automatically — you don't need to turn it off.
